YouTube's monetization threshold sounds simple: 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 public watch hours in 12 months. But after you hit it, the real question becomes: how much will I actually earn?

CPM by niche (India, 2026)

  • Finance/business: ₹350-800 per 1k views
  • Tech reviews: ₹250-500
  • Education/study: ₹150-300
  • Gaming: ₹120-250
  • Entertainment/vlog: ₹80-180
  • Music: ₹40-90

Real channel numbers (anonymized, 2026)

Niche Subs Monthly views Monthly earnings
Finance 12k 240k ₹78,000
Tech 35k 800k ₹140,000
Tutorial/coding 8k 95k ₹14,000
Vlog 60k 500k ₹42,000
Music 110k 2M ₹95,000
Gaming Hindi 25k 500k ₹60,000
Cooking 45k 600k ₹55,000
Movie reviews 90k 1.2M ₹140,000

What actually moves the needle

  1. Watch time per video — 8 minutes minimum, 12+ ideal
  2. Click-through rate on thumbnails — 6%+ is healthy
  3. Average view duration — 50%+ is exceptional
  4. Posting consistency — twice a week beats sporadic uploads

Where SMM panels fit

To reach the 1k/4000-hour threshold faster, you can:

  • Buy 500-1000 real subscribers from a refill-enabled service (~₹500-1500)
  • Buy 4000-5000 watch hours via legitimate "package" services (~₹2000-4000)

This compresses what would take 12+ months organically into 1-2 months. After threshold, organic traction takes over.

Important: monetization-eligible watch hours have to come from real users with watch retention. Cheap views won't count. Look for services labeled "Monetization-ready" or "High Retention" — we have a few in our YouTube catalog.
